I’m Lama Alsaif, a Senior Analyst in Research & Development at THIQAH, focused on AI/ML products—from research and solution design to model fine-tuning and deployment. I hold a BSc in Computer Science from King Saud University and am passionate about NLP, large language models, and generative AI.
Experience
Research & Development, Sr. Analyst — THIQAH (Mar 2023 – present)
I work on large-scale AI products: research, solution design, model fine-tuning, and deployment. I design and optimize ML solutions in NLP, LLMs, and diffusion models—including multi-label classification, LangChain-based assistants, prompt engineering for diffusion and image background removal, and a company-wide labeling framework. I’ve built an auditing platform for product manipulation detection, a movie-creation assistant for agencies and scriptwriters, and use technologies such as NLP, LLMs, BERT, Stable Diffusion, Docker, FastAPI, and Streamlit with Agile delivery.
Data Scientist (Intern) — stc, Advanced Analytics (May 2022 – Jan 2023)
Presented on Diffusion Models at department town halls; collaborated on a large-scale POC (solution design, data scraping, MongoDB, model fine-tuning, FastAPI deployment, front-end). Delivered EDA, clustering, and findings for GCTO; developed anomaly detection, EasyOCR fine-tuning, sentiment error analysis, and Arabic text classification.
